Web Site Update
A new look for 2009
One of the more exciting projects at
VillainousMind slated this
year is the web site update. It is part of a complete rebranding on the part of
VillainousMind. The blogs, company site, and product line,
currently consisting of the
Locura Media Server,
are being visually retooled. This will be a major step toward product placement and positioning for
VillainousMind.
The website will be implementing several key, forward-thinking methodologies in accordance with
Code Once philosophy. This includes but is not limited to
a robust data layer, a secure web-service backend, SEO-purposed and data-driven content, and code that
uses user and search-friendly, URL-rewritten addresses. We are past the design phase and well into the coding phase with the data
and web-service business layer as well as a fair chunk of the UI nearing completion. We are on target for a 2009 delivery.
