VillainousMind created the Locura Media Server for the PSP to an enthusiastic reception. The media server has since expanded to other platforms including the iPhone and iPod Touch, allowing video streaming before the iPhone App Store went live. A new look for 2009
One of the more exciting projects at VillainousMind slated this year is the web site update. It is part of a complete rebranding on the part of VillainousMind. The blogs, company site, and product line, currently consisting of the Locura Media Server, are being visually retooled. This will be a major step toward product placement and positioning for VillainousMind.

The website will be implementing several key, forward-thinking methodologies in accordance with Code Once philosophy. This includes but is not limited to a robust data layer, a secure web-service backend, SEO-purposed and data-driven content, and code that uses user and search-friendly, URL-rewritten addresses. We are past the design phase and well into the coding phase with the data and web-service business layer as well as a fair chunk of the UI nearing completion.
